Lettuce Salad (Sangchu Geotjeori)

 
 

I love adding cilantro to my salad. I find it gives a nice herby kick that compliments Korean barbecued meat well. I’m all about textures so the different shapes, crunch and flavors in here really pack a punch for a side dish.

Ingredients

1 BUNCH RED LEAF LETTUCE, ROUGHLY CHOPPED
1 CUP THINLY SLICED GREEN ONION*
1/2 SMALL RED ONION, SLICED
HANDFUL CILANTRO, ROUGHLY CHOPPED
—Dressing
2 TBSP SOY SAUCE
2 TBSP RICE VINEGAR
1 TBSP SESAME OIL
1 TBSP HONEY
1 TSP KOREAN RED PEPPER FLAKES (GOCHUGARU)
1 TBSP TOASTED SESAME SEEDS

Instructions

Prep vegetables accordingly. Place them in a bowl. Mix dressing ingredients in a separate bowl well. Pour over vegetables and toss right before serving.
