I recently had the opportunity to renovate my home, and the kitchen was of course one of the most important rooms for me. I wanted to design a space that makes sense for daily use while enhancing how my family can enjoy it. Check out a few of my favorite things that were incorporated below:
The Great Indoors
Bringing the nature outside of our semi-rural home indoors to compliment our surroundings was important. Using neutral tones in a bold way while incorporating natural decorative elements makes the space pop while remaining down to earth yet modern.
Smart(er) Home
I’ve been known to forget to turn off a stove or two, so having appliances that remind me and are Wi-Fi compatible while we’re not home is so useful (and safe)!
Hidden Gems
As a cooking enthusiast, I have tons of tools, gadgets, and devices that I ran out of space for in our previous kitchen. I’ve always wanted hidden pocket doors with outlets like this for frequented appliances like my Air Fryer that allow me to enjoy my toys without sacrificing my space.
